TENACITY IS SETTING A GOAL SO BIG YOU CANNOT POSSIBLY ACHIEVE IT…THEN GROWING INTO THE PERSON THAT CAN.

WEEK 1/2: HOMEWORK
Challenge your Maximum by DOING A LITTLE MORE AND DOING A LITTLE BETTER We all have pre-conceived notions of what we can do – both physically and mentally. If you think you can only do 5 push-ups, then it is doubtful you will ever get more. If you
think you are terrible in math, then you will continue to get C’s. This week in class, both on the mat and in school (or work) challenge yourself to “do a little more and do little better.” E.g. If the instructor is counting off push-ups and you normally give up around 15 or so, but they keep counting, then do not stop! Keep pushing yourself as hard as you can until you have not a single ounce of energy left. Imagine your life depended on getting 10 more push ups. You will find, that even though they may not have been perfect, it took you to another level of discomfort. But now that you have experienced that pain, your brain and body know it is in no real danger, so next time you can push even further!
LET ME TELL YOU THE SECRET THAT HAS LED ME TO MY GOAL. MY STRENGTH LIES TOTALLY IN MY TENACITY.
