Tough times do in fact make tough people. The more experiences we have in putting our bodies in physically and mentally uncomfortable environments, the tougher we become. Our lives are fraught with tough moments; exams at school, sporting competitions, public speeches, losing your job, firing an employee, ending a relationship, being sick yourself, or having a sick parent or friend. These tough, challenging events, or one similar, will happen to us all. There is no reason for them to wait until we become tougher. There will always be more problems ahead in life.
